We use different Freight Companies to ship Australia Wide. We usually use a Freight Broker to find the cheapest and most efficient way of shipping goods to you.
However, if you have your own transport company that you use on a regular basis we are happy to use them.
On most orders, your new wardrobe will be packed and wrapped on a pallet to ensure safe delivery. The posts are packaged in a long box. Often trucking companies move product around Australia differently, the package may arrive at a different time to the pallet.
Delivery: Once the goods arrive at your location the trucking company will use a Tail Lift to move the goods to your property. Due to the nature of Trucking Companies, it is sometimes impossible to give you an exact time that the delivery will be made. We will provide you with the estimated delivery date but we cannot assist with set times for the delivery. Some of our interstate customers have had a delivery to their place of work to avoid this problem. If the delivery is attempted and you are not available the goods are returned to the Trucking Depot, please note extra charges may apply if the goods need to be delivered a second time.
Depot delivery. We can arrange for the goods to be delivered to your nearest depot. This is sometimes a better alternative as this may save on shipping costs and you can pick the goods up at your convenience. If you leave the goods at the trucking depot for weeks they will charge for this, they usually expect you to pick up within a day or two. You will need a trailer to pick up as the pallet is usually over the 100kg in weight.
Shipping charges are based on weight and cubic size of the order. Deliveries to the East Coast are typically around the $200 mark. Please call us to discuss the size of your order so we can accurately quote your shipping costs.
Damage: From time to time damage does occur in shipping any goods. Please advise us within 24 hours of receipt of your goods of any damage. Damage caused in transit cannot be claimed on our Insurance Policy if you do not advise us within this time frame
